"Beloved, do not try to get out of a dark place,
except in God's time and in God's way.

The time of trouble is meant to teach you lessons that you sorely need. . .
You may move the hands of a clock to suit you,
but you do not change the time;

so you may hurry the unfolding of God's will,
but you harm and do not help the work."

Wow . . . wow . . . wow . . . here we are four months later. We would not have guessed to be at this place in the journey. Tonight we laid in place our plans to move to Orrville. Because of the "short sale" situation of the house we purchased in Ohio, we have been waiting each day for more information - that has been the story of the past six or eight months - a seeming shortage of information to make the decisions we have wanted to make. The bank involved has indicated that it could take 45 to 60 days for the paperwork to be processed. What a lesson in patience. As someone has point out to me: Patience is a virtue. Let me say it is a virtue that I am working on developing.

When our Ohio realtor (Welma Mast, a very nice lady, by the way) heard that we were renting the house we just sold in Leo, she wondered out loud why not rent the house we plan to move into in Orrville until the paper work is done. She tested the plan with the present owners and they were agreeable so we are moving in next week. We are very excited about the one move idea rather than renting somewhere else first.

So tonight we arranged for the moving truck and trailer to come to Leo next Saturday the 23rd of May and load up our goods. We will plan to start at 8 a.m. Later in the day we will drive to Orrville. I preach Sunday morning the 24th and then on Memorial Day, Monday the
25th, we will move into the house at 2003 Sunnyview Lane.

We are getting excited about getting started in Ohio. While we will be in the office at Oak Grove beginning Monday, May 18, we will be back to Leo next weekend for the big move. It is time to be done living out of suitcases and boxes.

Again, we thank so many of you who have stood with us in prayer and encouragement through these days of wandering in the wilderness. Your kind words and support will never be forgotten. You are deeply appreciated.

Peace to you!

Doug & Mim
